Anesthesia and analgesia
To ensure the safest possible anesthesia journey, we do provide a multimodal balanced anesthesia that is customized to the needs of your pet. Our anesthetic plans include the preoperative evaluation and once the plane is established, premedications are given.
During the procedure vital signs are monitored by a dedicated team member and with the aid of electronic monitoring equipment. Vital signs are monitored during the procedure and recovery.
Maintenance of the anesthesia is done using inhalation anesthesia which provides oxygen mixed with the anesthetic gas.
Continuous rate infusions (CRI) with analgesic medications is provided throughout the procedure to ensure best pain management.
Analgesia is continued during the recovery period and the patient is looked after during the period as well.
Spay & Neuter surgeries
Those are the most frequently performed surgeries at any veterinary hospital.
If you are not considering breeding your pet in the future, we recommend that you do the surgery.
This way your pet won’t go through the hormonal changes that might cause distress to your animal and you.
Based on lots of studies, The earlier the surgery is performed the better the medical and behavioral benefits are.
If you have questions regarding whether to do the procedure or not, and when is the most appropriate time to do it, you can always schedule an appointment at any of our clinics to discuss the questions you have.
